After a distinguished and varied career in education and public service, she is President of Moore College of Art and Design. She previously served two terms as a Philadelphia City Councilwoman and has received many awards for her outstanding leadership. As a college professor and chief executive and as a public servant, she has contributed her considerable professional and volunteer talents to education, child advocacy and the arts.
